My wonderful wife let me get out today after a very hectic weekend and do a little fishing by our house. I was using a 5 wt fly rod with a black wooly bugger. I caught 4 bass...3 small ones and one (I measured it) that was 16" long. It's been kinda slow at Bethany Lakes park due to the fishing pressure there so I decided to hit the lake by Krogers across the street from Bethany lakes park.

This bass was small, but hit the fly hard!

Here are 2 pictures of the larger bass...It measured 16" inches long. It put up a good fight on a 5wt fly rod!
