I have joined my first fly swap. Here is what I tied. I will update this when I receive my flies.
Hopper Pattern
Materials:
Hook: Tiemco 2302, #10.
Thread: Thread - 8/0, brown.
Abdomen/Thorax: Yellow Foam.
Wing: Deer hair, natural & Pearl Flash.
Hackle: Brown saddle hackle.
Tying Instructions: Cut foam the width of the hook gap and a little longer than the hook shank. Keep in mind you need enough to form the head in the end. Cut end to a point. Tie in foam on hook shank just above hook barb. Tie in saddle hackle. Lift foam up and advance thread on hook and tie in foam again forming a segmented body. Repeat these steps until you have the foam tied in just behind the hook eye. Be careful not to crowd the hook eye. Wrap hackle forward to form the legs and tie off and clip. I clip the top of the saddle hackle to allow the wing to sit naturally, but it's not necessary. Tie in Pearl flash the length of the foam. Tie in deer hair the length of the foam. Now take the extra foam at the front and flip it over and tie it in. Whip finish!
The finished product... click on the image for a closer look, a much closer look (almost to close).

Wow!!! Very slick Flyman.
Very similar to the Yellow Sally that Mike posted on Fly of the Month on the Beavers Bend Bulletin Board.
Did you invent this fly or use a recipe?
I kind of stole from various patterns I have found on the internet and the Bass Pro fly tying class I attend. I guess you could say it is a "hybrid".
