Custom Fly Rod and Flies

I took some time recently to build another custom fly rod and a box of custom flies for the 11th Annual Allen DU Banquet. I used a 6 wt IM7 Fly Rod kit from Cabela's and I had all the fly tying materials needed. Here are a few pictures of the fly rod.

I tied 4 Clouser Minnows 4 Rabbit Zonkers and 3 Chernobyl Ants. I also tied 4 Pencil Poppers and an Assortment of Extra Wooly, Wooly Buggers. Not pictured here were also 2 Sneaky Pete flies.

A Large Arbor 6wt TFO Prism fly reel was Donated by Tailwater's Fly Fishing Company. They also gave me a great deal on a Scientific Anglers Sharkskin weight forward fly line. The entire package went in our Live Auction and brought $300 for Ducks Unlimited and Wetlands Conservation.
