McKinney Fly Angling blog...
Check out a fly angling blog I found that is updated by Robin in McKinney, Tx just North of my hometown in Allen, Tx. http://mckinneyflyangling.blogspot.com/
I fish the Bethany Lakes Park which is right by my house, walking distance. I usually catch a couple bass each time out. In the Spring, I can catch 5-10 on any trip. Wooly Buggers are the best...I tie my really WOOLY and they have some really good action. It's funny, on a post dated Aug 9, 2006 on my blog I received a comment and Tom @ Buzzard Bluff mentioned a Robin Ryhne in McKinney and told me to get in touch with him...is that you?!?!
old Tom up on Buzzard's Bluff near Mammoth Spring AR. I met Tom on the "intertubes" a few years ago, I forgot exactly how now. He was a founding member of the Dallas Fly Fishers waay back in the '60's when they were just some hoodlum fly chunkers :)
I've never done too well at Bethany Lakes. But to be honest I've not put in enough time there either.

Hi Brad
Nice stuff! Looks like you have a tying problem as well :)
It's so darned hot lately all I can do is try to squeeze in some morning or evening angling and tie some flies.
Might head up to the Blue River near Tishomingo OK sometime for smallmouth and spotted bass.
Where do you fish locally? I've been hitting Serenity Park pond in McKinney in the main.
