The Perfection Loop

This knot can be used to tie your fly line to your leader. Use a nail knot to tie some monofilament to your fly line and create a perfection loop with the other end of the monofiliament. Then either by a leader with a loop end or tie another perfection loop and thread the two perfection loops together. You thread the two perfection loops by sticking the monofilament loop through the loop of the leader. Then you take the end of the leader and thread it through the loop of the monofilament. Then pull the fly line/monofilament end and the leader end in opposite directions and you should have the leader connected to your fly line.
